School Uniform

Learning to dress for the task in hand is considered part of the children’s education. To this end we expect children to dress smartly for school in combinations of the following styles and colours:

Bottle green jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt
Grey or black pinafore, skirt, culottes, trousers or shorts
Green/white checked or striped summer dress
White blouse or polo shirt
Black shoes
Grey/black/white socks/tights

Bottle green jumper, tank-top or sweatshirt
Grey or black trousers or shorts
White  collared shirts or polo shirts
Black shoes
Grey/black/white socks

Green sweatshirts, tank tops, cardigans jackets and coats  with embroidered crests are available from school. All other items are available from general clothing firms. Casual wear is not permissible except where indicated for school visits. Children should be prepared for all weather, therefore a coat or waterproof should always be brought.

The children should wear sensible, comfortable shoes with fastenings which ensure their safety.

Please mark all clothing with your child’s name.

In the interests of safety, jewellery must not be worn at school. Studs may be worn in pierced ears. However, parents should note that these will have to be removed for PE, games and swimming. Security of such items is the responsibility of the pupil. We ask that the children bring a container for these and place them when not being worn in the charge of the teacher.

Draw string bags for PE and Book Bags can be purchased from school. Please ask at the office for details of these.
