Richmond Methodist Primary and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Sharon Stevenson (Headteacher). Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Miss Natasha Wood (Deputy Head) and Mrs Julie Swinbank (Early Years Lead). The Governor with responsibility for safeguarding in our school is Nicola Hebb and the Co-Link Governor for Safeguarding is Jan Linsley (Chair of Governors).
